You know you never know what God has planned for you...... I am always amazed at what He reveals to me and how it reveals it. Anyway anyone who really knows me knows my story and knows its a miracle that I am among the living today.... That being said with the upcoming holiday Father's Day my eldest daughter Shani had a dilemma she purchased a gift for her Father and was concerned how I would react.
The reason being her Father has not consistently been in her life until just recently. I applaud her for taking the steps to start the process of healing and forgiveness for his absenteeism and neglectfulness all the while possessing the kindness that allowed her to extend an olive branch to the Nuckle Head, Yeah, I'm gonna say it, he doesn't deserve it! He lost my respect a long time ago and don't get it twisted people assume I hate him, not at all, I just don't like him and if you know anything about me Respect Honor and Your Word are principles I require and once I loose respect for you I can't Honor your presence if you have no Honor your Word will not be your Bond so basically I can't take you seriously SON! Anyway, I get a little tickled because she was really worried that I was going to be upset. Well, she consulted her sister, and she assured her that I would be fine and that I would understand. Well, Shani finally told me that she had purchased the gift and voiced her concern especially because she was unable to give me a gift for Mother's Day, needless to say at that moment my Spirit was moved and I was awed the wonder of a CHILD's LOVE!

I was allowed a glimpse of something that is so amazing and mind blowing! I remember saying WOW! 23 years later and you still possess the ability to open your heart and ask him to come him inside; with open arms no less, and at the same time he doesn't even know just how much his little girl actually loves him! The tears she cried not knowing why she wasn't good enough, the hugs she was cheated out of, the love YOU robbed her of , the "I love you, you are my Princess" she never heard from your lips, the birthdays that came and went without so much as a card or phone call, the Christmas' that the Grinch stole. Her triumphs as well as her defeats, the skinned knees the disappointments of missed visits. You don't even know how BLESSED You are to have that kinda of LOVE! It moved my heart and made me a little sad for the Nuckle Head, but not for long. Like I told her "What's even crazier is you'll probably be the one changing his damned depends just make sure we ain't in the same damned nursing home! Pahahahah! I say all this to say God has Blessed me with AMAZING children which I will cherish always! Our story is amazing and I am so glad that Youchose me to be your Mother! #WithoutHISGracewherewouldibe
