Let me down

Today I feel like people let me down, no matter the relation its always sure to happen. Maybe my expectations are too high?

 I feel as if I dont ask for much so I really dont understand why disappointment lurks. I know in some situations I put myself out there to get hurt. I m always trying to be considerate but it never seems to be reciprocated. I guess I have to be more careful !
